Nichole and Jamie-Lynn's first drawing for Sketch Tuesday.

I found this really cool blog called Harmony Art Mom. She has a program called Sketch Tuesday. She tells you what the sketch is for the week and then you sketch it and send it to her before the following Monday. She will then add your picture to her slideshow. This week's sketch is a birdhouse with or without a bird. Here is my daughters'. I thought they did a great job!!

We received our Rightstart A Math curriculum!!

WOW!! I am in love already. What a great program. Monkey wanted to dive in the minute the box arrived and she did 3 lessons the first day. Rightstart is exactly what I was looking for in a math program. Monkey loves anything hands-on and this is definitely hands-on. It is very teacher intensive, but really, what subject is not in Kindergarten? My plan was to save this for the fall when we start K, but Monkey wants to keep going, so keep going, we will!!!

I am going to give this blogging thing another shot!

I started this blog two years ago and did not do very well with it. I am going to give it another try. I figured out how to find a design for the blog and I love it! I have not figured out exactly what I will write here, but it will mostly be about our school journey with a side of family life!
